On 8/29/25 our option of offering low-cost mosaic supplies will be affected as we will be forced to pay a tariff on all of our imported goods. The bulk of our inventory comes from the European Union and has been purchased in quantities that fall in the de Minimus tariff loophole.
Since this is going away our prices will necessarily be going up. This will only affect incoming products as we restock. Goods already in stock will not go up (until they are restocked).
For more information on this change, here is the news directly from the White House: The end of the de Minimus Tariff exemption is coming.
My EU supplier has this information on their website: "From August 29th, 2025 there will be import duty and state sales tax imposed on USA shipments from the EU by the US Government. FedEx has introduced a handling fee per shipment of 4,50 euro, this charge and the Sales Tax of your state will appear on your order. The import duty will be approximately 5% on your subtotal not including shipping, sales tax or the FedEx fee."
