On 8/29/25 our option of offering low-cost mosaic supplies will be affected as we will be forced to pay a tariff on all of our imported goods. The bulk of our inventory comes from the European Union and has been purchased in quantities that fall in the de Minimus tariff loophole.
Since this is going away our prices will necessarily be going up. This will only affect incoming products as we restock. Goods already in stock will not go up (until they are restocked).
For more information on this change, here is the news directly from the White House: The end of the de Minimus Tariff exemption is coming.
What we've seen since this increase started is a minimum increase of a few cents in the smaller quantities to a couple of dollars in the pound and kilogram bags. It's still early enough that we don't have the final costs in from FedEx, but we're hopeful that this increase will be all there is.
