Tempered Glass (aka Crash Glass)

Tempered glass can create interesting mosaic textures in your project. In addition to needing little to no cutting, this pre-broken glass can come in a variety of thicknesses, transparent colors, and textures. 

It is best used over a prepared surface--paint, collage, colored pencil, and so on. 

Since it is a product created for storm or auto windows, it is fine to put outdoors. Just be sure that your base and preparation materials will withstand exterior conditions and color-fastness.
